About 37 years ago he had himself pronounced his retirement from voice to character Daisuke Jigen from the show Lupin Part 3. This was one of his long-running works that finally ended by his will as he wanted to try for new roles as well. Interestingly, he was the only surviving cast who gave voice to characters of the anime, and others we already dead by now. He was the cast member from the original generation 1 of the show who saw all 6 parts of the show growing in front of his eyes. He was also a student at National Institute for Cultural Studies. He was a man who wanted to be perfect with each passing day. He was so determined to be good every day and attract everyone’s attention to the show was acting for or say gave voice to.
