IN 1991 after a victim of Jeffery ran away and he reached the police, finally, after years of killing people, Jeffery was caught. The storyline that was shown on the show, however, has some extra things to it, still, it haunts many people who were there in that era. Glenda was the one who called the police earlier than Jeffery got arrested for his heinous crimes. Glenda was the woman who suspected Jeffery and she was the first person to suspect him. While she used to sense a rotten smell and flesh-burning smell from Jeffery’s house, Glenda asked Jeffery about the smell that came from his house, which he used to decline and spin off the matter. Glenda however informed the police when she saw that Jeffery bought a young boy into his house and she noticed that even that young boy was screaming. Yes, Glenda heard voices of people screaming from Jeffery’s house and she also heard drilling sounds and blood smell from Jeffery’s house and it was when she called the police.

Glenda suspected Jeffery that he kills people in his house, but she never got the chance to help the young boy that came into Jeffery’s house. Jeffery one day bought a young teenager, who was screaming and Glenda instantly called the police. When the police came, Jeffery told them that the boy was an adult and that he is his boyfriend. Glenda was terrified for the boy and the police went away by saying to Glenda that it was a boyfriend-boyfriend thing. The same night Glenda heard the boy scream and the noises were gone the next day. She was sure that Jeffery killed him. While she later called the police serval times, they all proved her wrong and she was often ignored because she was a woman of colour. Glenda in 1991 came to know that Jeffery was finally arrested and later she also saw the pictures and the apartment where Jeffery killed 17 people. Jeffery was arrested as one of his last victims Tracy ran away and he informed the police about Jeffery. Glenda moved from her apartment after he was arrested and she passed away in 2011 aged 56, her daughters call her brave because she faced racism and also faced the criminal as well.
