According to another source, his remains were taken to his residence which is in Urapakkam and his funeral is supposed to be held on Tuesday. People who adored him were heartbroken as he was one of the prominent actors. At the time of his death, Ramu was 60 years old. Ramu rose to fame after he was cast in a poo film which was directed by Sasi. After casting in Poo he was cast in some other films like Neerparavali, Pariyerum Perumal, and nedunaalvaadi. The most recent work of Ramu was seen in Soorari poetry. Apart from being an actor, Ramu was also a part of the Tamil Nadu Progressive Writer’s Association. He was one of the most prominent actors from Tamil Nadu.

From 1990 to 2005 for over 15 years, he was a part of the Chennai Kalai Kuzhu. His death was mentioned by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin. Stalin sent condolences to the family of Ramu and said that he was a renowned street play artiste. Chief Minister also said that Ramu was someone who reached out to other people and he left his ideology to others. Chief Minister lastly said that he sent condolences to the family and the industry as well. According to one source, Ramu died at the age of 60 and he took his last breath on the 27th of June 2022. As of now, there is no information released about his family and he suffered from cardiac arrest. His last remains will be given to his family. Tuesday his funeral will be held at his residence. Many of his fans who adored him are heartbroken because of his death news of Ramu. Industry members as well are sending condolences to the family and are saying that they lost a gem.
