Reports suggest that Akzuki was in the hospital at the time of his death and he was at the Hyogo Prefecture hospital in his last moments. He was dealing with Acute myeloid leukaemia during his last days and passed away due to it. As soon as the demise news came up actress Gao Huimei who was also a part of the Godzilla series posted on Twitter and she sent her heartfelt condolences to the director’s family. Many others as well added their sincere concerns and also appreciated the work and the talent that Kazuki had. Godzilla occupied a massive importance in the Japanese film industry as it was the one that gained audience attention from all over the world.

Kazuki was a hard-working and great creator and he has been working on various movies for the past few decades.
